About
I set out to be at home with my daughters. The business came from that, and everything I teach now came from working out how to do it properly.
Hello
I am a business and marketing strategist, the author of The Business of Coaching, and the founder of Freedom CEO®. I work with people who are excellent at what they do but never set out to become marketers, operators or technologists, and now find themselves having to be all three.
I have built websites and CRMs, taught accredited business courses, run a charity for over a decade, and made most of the mistakes I now help other people avoid. What I do is not theory. It is what worked, refined over fourteen years.
Freedom does not come from doing everything yourself. It comes from building something that does not depend on you for everything.

Where it began
Before I ever called myself an entrepreneur, I worked as an accountant in an international bank. A traditional, structured career, the kind you are expected to build your life around.
Then my twins were born in 2011, and everything changed. These were the days before working from home was something anyone offered, so the choice was full-time nursery for two babies or handing in my notice. My salary would barely have covered the nursery fees.
There was no contest.
I did not leave to start a business. I left to be there, and the business came out of that decision.

Family first
Starting from necessity
Talk to enough entrepreneurs and a pattern emerges. A great many did not start a business because they dreamed of entrepreneurship. They started one because the alternative had stopped working for the life they actually had.
Caring responsibilities. A career that would not flex. A job that cost more to keep than to leave. A redundancy that arrived at the wrong moment and turned out to be the right one.
The business begins as a solution to a problem, and only later becomes something chosen.
For a lot of people, entrepreneurship starts as an act of necessity and only afterwards becomes a vehicle for freedom.
Learning it from the inside out
In 2012 I founded Bevelyn Media, named after my daughters, at the exact moment Facebook business pages were first rolling out. I set up and managed pages for local businesses, learning digital marketing in real time as the platforms changed underneath me.
At the same time I founded Jersey Children's Charity, which I still run today. From the beginning, the work combined business, service and impact.
Over the years that followed I did nearly all of it myself, because there was nobody else to do it.
Over time my role shifted from marketing support to something closer to business manager for many of my clients. That gave me something you cannot get from a course: a wide-angle view of how businesses actually function behind the scenes.
2012 onwards
A third daughter
A detour into psychology
When my youngest daughter was born I felt pulled in a new direction. I wanted to build a health and lifestyle membership, and to contribute to it as a practitioner rather than only as the owner.
So I trained as a life coach, a nutrition coach, and in Rapid Transformational Therapy with Marisa Peer. I also completed a six-month coding programme at Digital Jersey, where I project managed and coded the platform for that membership alongside a team of other students. We built the site, the gated member content, and a full admin system.
At the time I thought I was pivoting away from business. I was not. I was adding a layer to it.
Working in coaching and behavioural change taught me why people get stuck, and it is almost never a strategy problem.
Fear, identity and confidence do not stay in your personal life. They turn up in the pricing, the delegating, and the offer you keep not launching.
Back to business, differently
When I moved back into business and marketing strategy, I brought all of it with me.
That combination is the foundation of what I do now: working with people who are genuinely excellent at what they do, but who never came from a business background.
People with no interest in becoming full-time marketers, and every interest in building a serious business.
Where it comes together
Teaching it, not just talking about it
I qualified as a professional educator through City & Guilds, with formal teaching qualifications in adult education. I then designed and delivered an accredited business programme, Creating a Start-Up Business, to three cohorts of early-stage entrepreneurs at Highlands College.
The course met accredited standards, but the curriculum design, lesson structure and delivery were entirely my own. That is where I learned to turn complicated business ideas into something a person can actually act on.

The work now
Where it led
All of it led here. Freedom CEO exists for ambitious people who want to scale without burning themselves out, and without becoming someone they do not recognise in the process.
It is not for hobbyists. It is for people who want to:
At the centre of it is the Freedom Business System®, the framework for streamlining, systemising and scaling without the whole thing depending on you.
Freedom does not come from doing everything yourself. It comes from building something that does not need you for everything.
The LEAD Framework
L
Offers and funnels that produce income whether or not you are working.
E
Charging what you are worth, and deciding as the owner rather than the operator.
A
Using AI and automation intelligently, so the admin stops eating your week.
D
Building a team early, and staying in the work only you can do.
In their words
★★★★★
In one hour, Kristin helped me see my coaching business strategy from a completely new perspective and pointed me at the tasks that actually move things. I had been doing all the things, from social media to blogging to podcasting, and seeing few clients from any of it. Since our call I have connected with many new brands and opened my business up to new audiences.
★★★★★
The best business coach I could possibly imagine. Kristin is very knowledgeable, and her support and guidance have exceeded my expectations. She showed me how to build a website from scratch, design the logo, and saved me hundreds of pounds. We worked together on every step, including company registration.
★★★★★
Kristin has a wealth of experience and knows exactly what you need to know when starting your own business. I particularly liked how she shared her own experiences to bring the topics to life. She was highly supportive in helping me navigate the content, and I learnt so much. It has been invaluable in setting up my business.
